The first thing that comes up when i think of mexico is, the food. I love the tacos and burritos the best. All of their food is great, and has so much flavor to each bite.
The next is bull fighting! I have never been close to animals, and seeing the bull fight is so interesting.
Their houses are very perculiar. It is as if they are stacked up on top of each other. Living in Korea, and America, i have never seen anything like it.
Who doesnt think of somberos when they think of mexico? I also think of bright bold colors they use, especailly on somberos.
Lastly Mexico seems like one of the best places for a vacation or a getaway. It has the best sights, and most beautiful landscapes.

They have similar houses to those in San Francisco.
I like that your pointed out food. You know some of my friends sarcastically make fun of Mexican food. They point out that we use the same basic ingredients just rearranged. We'll, I had to break it to them that Taco Bell isn't Mexican food. That they should come over when we cook some incredible dishes with no meat; like calabazas.
I think it's interesting how well Mexico markets to tourists very well. Food, bright colors, vacations, etc. If you have any relatives that live a humble life or know anybody who does, you should really consider spending some time, maybe just a week, staying with them. Waking up early in the morning getting the day started is the best. The first thing my relatives do is go to the local market to buy a freshly made pack of tortillas. Oh how wonderful.
